The Princess Delivered A Moving Maiden Speech In French

For the first day of festivities marking the 10th anniversary of the reign of Albert II,
Monaco met their sovereign Saturday afternoon for a cocktail on the place du Palais Palace.
Under a blazing sun, these lucky were able to hear the first words of the Princess Charlene
entirely in french. A tribute to her husband and the borrowing of modesty and emotional love.


«I was told there would be surprises today, but this one...» ». It was moved to tears as the 
prince of Monaco, Albert II, spoke to the crowd who had joined the Palace Square, Saturday afternoon.
On the occasion of the 10 years of his reign, the rock is celebrating. The opportunity for his wife 
the Princess Charlene delivered his first speech in the language of Moliere. The usually discreet if 
South Africa is allowed a few sweet words for those who shared his life since 2007 and gave him at the 
beginning of two children.

'Monseigneur, it is with immense joy that we celebrate this day. I congratulate you and pray that your 
reign is long, accomplished and serene"she began in a solemn tone. And to add, using the TU: more than 
anyone, I know your absolute dedication to the Principality, its future and the well-being of its 
population. More than anyone, I like your commitment to noble causes that you defend with force. "

The mother of the twins princely Gabriella  and Jacques, baptized last may, congratulated her husband: 
"In your not, our children are in a good school," before concluding: "the prince Albert 1st was Explorer, 
prince Rainier Builder, you are the prince of heart and my heart. Long live our prince, vivid Monaco.


The applause of the public, Albert II pulled a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe a few tears of joy 
before thanking his wife and to speak in turn. It is particularly cheerful "the continuation of the dynasty" 
that now provide its children, aged 7 months..
